About Kinango Technical and Vocational College

Who We Are

Kinango Technical & Vocational College (KTVC) is located in the expansive Kwale County, Samburu Sub-County in Mackinnon Township. The college was born out of the government's unwavering and unrelenting commitment to attain the Sustainable Development Goals. Established in September 2019, the institution has since become synonymous with excellence in training, offering a diverse range of programmes and initiatives tailored to meet the evolving needs of its trainee population as emphasized in the College Vision and Mission.

The institution offers practical, hands-on training in various technical and vocational disciplines, aligning with the demand for skilled labour in Kenya's growing economy. The college provides education that equips students with relevant skills for the job market β€” in fields such as engineering, information technology, business studies, hospitality, fashion design, and more.

As a government-funded public institution, Kinango TVC is more affordable than private colleges. Students may also have access to scholarships and loans through programmes like the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and county government bursaries.

Located in Kwale County, KTVC serves the local community by providing accessible education and training, especially to students from the Coast region and neighbouring areas, promoting regional development and economic empowerment.
