Kinango Technical and Vocational College (KTVC)
Kinango Technical and Vocational College (KTVC) is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution established in September 2019 and situated in Samburu Sub-County, Kwale County, on the Coast of Kenya. The college serves students from Kwale County and the broader coastal region by offering competency-based education and training aligned with industry needs and Kenya's development agenda.
KTVC is fully licensed and regulated by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) and accredited by the Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC) under the CBET framework. Our programmes are nationally recognised, and students benefit from KUCCPS placement, HELB financial support, and KNEC-registered examinations.
The college is located along the Mackinnon RoadβSamburu route in Kwale County, approximately 90 km from Mombasa City. Our physical offices are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From Mombasa, board a matatu or bus heading to Samburu / Kinango via Mackinnon Road. Alight at Samburu town and ask locals for Kinango TVC β the college is well known in the community.
Take the A14 MombasaβNairobi Highway and turn off at Mackinnon Road town. Head towards Samburu along the B8 road. The college is clearly signposted. Ample parking is available on campus.

Whether you are applying as a government-sponsored student through KUCCPS, a self-sponsored student, or seeking a short course certificate, we welcome you. Our Registrar's Office handles all admissions enquiries and is available Monday to Friday during office hours.
KCSE Certificate (D+ and above for Certificate programmes). Specific courses may require additional qualifications. Contact the Registrar for full requirements per department.

KTVC is HELB-eligible. Students can apply for Higher Education Loans Board funding to cover tuition and living expenses. KUCCPS government-sponsored students also qualify for sponsorship.
