Welcome to the official website of Kinango Technical and Vocational College (KTVC) — a public TVET institution situated in Samburu, Kwale County, Kenya. Established to serve the technical education needs of the coastal and hinterland communities of Kwale, KTVC is committed to empowering trainees with relevant, industry-aligned, and competency-based skills that meet the demands of today's rapidly evolving job market.
At KTVC, we hold firm to the belief that technical and vocational education is the surest foundation of sustainable development and economic empowerment. Through our seven well-structured academic departments, modern and adequately equipped training facilities, and a team of experienced, professional trainers, we prepare our students not only for gainful employment, but also for entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and lifelong learning.
Our training approach is firmly rooted in the national Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework as mandated by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), and our programmes are fully accredited by the Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC). We welcome both government-sponsored students through KUCCPS and privately self-sponsored candidates throughout our three annual intake cycles — January, May, and September.
