On behalf of the Board of Governors, I am honored to welcome you to the Kinango Technical and Vocational College. As Chairperson of the Board, I take great pride in the steady growth, transformation, and impact that our college continues to make in technical education and skills development.

Kinango Technical and Vocational College remains committed to providing quality Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) that equips our trainees with practical skills, innovation capacity, and industry-relevant competencies. Our mandate is aligned with the national development agenda and the vision of transforming Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) into a driver of economic growth and youth empowerment.

The Board of Governors provides strategic leadership, policy direction, and oversight to ensure sound governance, prudent financial management, and adherence to training standards. We are dedicated to creating a conducive learning environment supported by modern infrastructure, qualified trainers, and strong industry linkages.

We recognize that education is a partnership. We therefore value the support of parents, guardians, industry stakeholders, government agencies, and the local community who continue to walk this journey with us.

Board of Governors — Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Provides overall strategic direction and policy guidance to ensure KTVC achieves its institutional mandate and national TVET objectives.
Governance & Oversight
Ensures sound governance, institutional accountability and adherence to all TVETA regulations, CDACC standards and government policies.
Financial Management
Oversees prudent financial management, budget approval and resource allocation to sustain quality infrastructure and training programmes.
Industry Linkages
Fosters partnerships with industry, government agencies and community stakeholders to strengthen KTVC's relevance and graduate employability.
Infrastructure Development
Champions the development of modern training facilities, workshops and student welfare infrastructure that support quality learning outcomes.
Youth Empowerment
Drives policies that make quality technical education accessible to all youth — especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds in Kwale County.
