Welcome to the Department of Building and Civil Engineering at Kinango Technical and Vocational College. It is my honour and privilege to serve as the Head of Section of this dynamic and purposeful department, which stands at the heart of Kenya's construction and infrastructure development agenda.

Our department is dedicated to providing high-quality, competency-based training in Plumbing and Masonry — disciplines that are fundamental to the construction of homes, water systems, sanitation infrastructure and public facilities that define the quality of life in our communities. Through our CBET programmes at Levels 3, 4 and 5, we equip trainees with the practical skills, technical knowledge and professional values needed to excel in Kenya's thriving building and construction sector.

We believe that skilled tradespeople are the true architects of a nation. Every pipe fitted, every wall laid and every foundation poured by our graduates contributes directly to Kwale County's development and Kenya's broader Vision 2030 infrastructure goals. We are proud to train not just technicians, but responsible, innovative and entrepreneurial professionals who can create employment and drive economic growth in their communities.
